Hi. Can't thank the community enough for this most excellent package.
My question is about communicating between browser windows:
With a textarea you can have something like this:
function setarea() {
document.getElementById('id1').innerHTML =
window.opener.document.getElementById('idi').value;
}
function savearea() {
window.opener.document.getElementById('id1').value =
document.getElementById('id1').innerHTML;
}
calling setarea() will copy the data from the textarea in the "parent" window into a textarea (or even an instance of FCKEditor) on the child window -- however, while savearea() works fine for copying it back from the "child" window to the parent window's textarea, it won't copy from an FCKeditor instance.
I've tried using .value instead of .innerHTML.
I've tried using the javascript integration method with the .ReplaceTextarea() method
Nothing seems to let me copy the edited html from the child back to the parent.
Has anyone done this or have any ideas? Thanks a million.
