I need to modify the way the generic copy and paste works so that if I past an element into the editor it removes the id attribute.
This is not the same as paste from word as I have already accomplished this task.
I have traced the javascript for a while now and although I seem to be removing the id attribute, when I look at the source I notice that it is still there.
Does anyone know why that when I copy an element and then modify the innerHTML (in FCK.GetClipboardHTML) before it returns the result it still uses the original HTML (even though I can see that the id has been removed - viewing an alert).
I am using the ie implementation.
Thanks.
