I need this component to produce output compatible with XML.
This component will be used to edit content (including "past from word" content) and save it in a database field. This and other fields of a database record will all be structed in an XML output. So, each field should be a part of the complete XML.
This XML will be transformed using an XSL to produce the final front-end output.
There is an XML compatibility problem on the output I get from FCKeditor when using Portuguese caracters. For ex some caracters are converted to ç,Ç,ã, etc witch are incompatible with XML. To avoid this convertion it would be useful to use a Portuguese CodePage (the same one used on the final XML transformation).
The question is:
Will, the following configuration, use the correct CodePage and avoid those special caracters to be converted?
FCKConfig.AutoDetectLanguage = false; FCKConfig.DefaultLanguage = "pt"
Thank you
Jorge
