Changing the upload path

I have found many threads that relate to changing the upload path but none that appear to offer a simple solution. Perhaps I'm just reading the wrong threads but here is my challange.

1. If Iupload a file directly via FCKEditor, it is uploaded to the folder "/FCKEditor_Upload/"
2. If I upload files via FCKEditor Resource Manager (so that I can reuse it later on), it is uploaded to the folder "/FCKEditor_Upload/Image/"

I cannot therefore browse to a file that was directly uploaded. Where can I cnange the default upload path so that all images arrive at the same default location? I'm using ASP.Net.
