I'm using the latest FckEditor with Asp.Net 2.0. I put the following in web.config so that the image browser would look for the UserFiles folder at the root of my web app, not the root of wwwroot:
<appSettings>
<add key="FCKeditor:UserFilesPath" value="~/UserFiles" />
</appSettings>
I also went into IIS and assigned Read, Write, and Directory Browsing for this folder and its subfolders. So far, so good. I can upload images and select images when I use fckEditor, and I no longer get the 500 error message. However, all the images appear as broken in fckEditor. The only time the images actually appeared correctly in fckEditor is when I put the UserFiles folder and subfolders in wwwroot.
What else am I missing? I don't want the UserFiles folder in wwwroot.
