Can't install under other path than /

I'm having a problem.
I can't get the editor to work under other path than root/.
If i use it in another folder (let's say root/admin/) no matter what paths i specify for the
"fckeditor/fckeditor.php" in the head section, and oFCKeditor->BasePath = '/fckeditor/'before initialising the editor...
still wouldn't work...

can anybody help please !
