When I click on "Insert More Break," a little "More" button shows up. Clicking on that opens what appears to be a one-line sized horizontal text box, with handles for dragging larger.
But when I try to click inside this text box, it disappears. Typing anywhere else just results in adding normal text to the post.
I don't know if I'm doing it correctly, because I don't see this function in the User's guide on CKeditor. Any suggestions?
I'm using CKEditor 3.6.2 (revision 7275)
Thanks!

Re: Can't get the "More" function to work
you probably use some CMS like Drupal, Worpdress or Joomla. Please clarify this. Please also write which version of CKEditor's extension to this CMS do you use and CMS version.
Re: Can't get the "More" function to work
Thanks for your reply. I'm using CK editor Version 3.6.2.1 in WordPress 3.2.1. I haven't found any info on how to use this function ("more").
Does "More" just create a little pop out box, or does it offer a link to the full article?
Basically, I can't find a way to enter any text for the "more" tag to take readers to.
Should I be asking these questions on WordPress.org?
Re: Can't get the "More" function to work
Do you use our extension to Wordpress ? You can find it here: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/ckeditor-for-wordpress. If yes , please write which version do you use.
Re: Can't get the "More" function to work
As I said on November 29th, I use Version 3.6.2.1
Would upgrading to 3.6.2.4 be likely to help this issue?
Thanks!
Re: Can't get the "More" function to work
but this button is only to insert link to "Continue reading". This is done by Wordpress. So the text above this "More" line in editor will be visible on Home page and text below this line will be visible on full page view - after clicking this link. There is no option to edit or do something with this. CKEditor just insert special html comment which is changed by Wordpress into link. This is how it should works.
Upgrade to latest version doesn't change anything with this.
Hope this helps you.
Re: Can't get the "More" function to work
Thanks - it helps to know WP just inserts a link. Mine doesn't do anything - no link is visible on the page, but I see the line and "more" in the editor. Anything I type after that shows on the same page.
It is probably not your problem. Should I post this issue on a WP forum?
