Cannot view source or save with home page editor

I've recently run into trouble with CKEditor's homepage editor. It won't let me access the source and while I can make changes in the editor, they will not save. The last change I was able to make was adding a <head> in source to the homepage. Could this be part of the issue?

I'm using CKEditor 3.2 (revision 5205).
