The "Browse Server" button is missing from my installation so I cannot insert any images or links, only via absolute URLs. I can't live like that.
I have set up a new site with Drupal 7.26, installed the lastes wysiwyg, imce, imce_wysiwyg and downloaded the ckeditor from http://ckeditor.com/ (the full version 4.3.4). I have installed it properly in sites/all/libraries/ckeditor so that the path is sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/ckeditor.js . This is true! I swear!
I have also tried it in sites/all/modules/ckeditor ... nada ...
I have checked in wysiwyg that imce is checked, it is. I have the buttons for images and links in the "full html" profile for the admin.
I have googled and looked on every help site I could find; I also installed tinymce in the libraries folder because somewhere it said that helped. I have two other sites set up with ckeditor which work fine - this one does not.
What is wrong? I need to finish the site but can't because it's a drag to ftp all images and do absolute URLs.
thanks,
Pia
Hi Pia,
Hi Pia,
we do not provide support for the Drupal WYSIWYG module, it's a third party product that we have no control over so we really are unable to tell you what's wrong. You may have more luck asking among the Drupal community.
There is an official CKEditor for Drupal module that is available here: https://drupal.org/project/ckeditor
You may try to install it and see if you are still having issues.
