CKeditor not working with .cfm extention...

I am trying to work with the integrated editor and "finder" and not having much luck. How does one get the data from a database (like MS access) to display in the textarea? When I try to modify the existing ckeditor.html file to a .cfm, it displays a blank page. All I want to do is have a cfeditor text area on a .cfm page. Once I acheive that, I can load my <cfoutput>#data#</cfoutput> in between the textarea tags.
