You don't have settings.php file ? It looks that your Drupal is not correctly installed... This is main drupal's file it should exists. Please check your drupal installation or reinstall it.
ummm... I do have that file. It just has the word "default" in front of it.
I have the Drupal 7.12. I have just installed it again and once again, the file name in sites/default is "default.settings.php". I have checked my 3 other installations of drupal 7.12 with the same result. I have been using this version for a month now and up until now this is the only issue I have had.
Perhaps the CkEditor is not up to date with the latest file structure of Drupal 7.12 (at a guess??)
Check maybe this file is hidden. It should exists . Normally this file is read only. What other directories do you have in your sites/default directory ?
Nope, no hidden files. If you take a look at the screenshot of my terminal (attached) you'll see there is nothing. (not looking via the Finder either) There is however another settings.php file in the directory "2trees". Again see the screenshot. Should I rather be putting the settings in here?
The strange thing is that functionality of ckEditor or ckFinder does not seem to be effected. Only that I get a notification of the error in my drupal Report.
