CKEditor does not work with WordPress 3.5.
In editing, the contents are all invisible. None of the tool icons are available and the word count does not work. If I right click within the contents and do a select all then I can see my contents, so everything is still there, just invisible.
I am currently using CKEditor 3.6.3
I tried to upload the newer versions of CKEditor on my WordPress 3.5, but I keep getting an error saying:
(Installing Plugin from uploaded file: ckeditor_4.0_full.zip
Unpacking the package…
Installing the plugin…
The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.
Plugin install failed.)
When I deactivate the CKEditor plugin the default WordPress editor works good.
Can anyone assist with this?? Please Advise.
Same issue: CKEditor for WordPress 3.5 Not working
As above, CKEditor is not working and the editor is stuck in HTML instead of visual but nothing can be seen unless using 'select all' as above. Disabling it solves the issues as it goes back to Wordpress default editor... which is terrible.
CKEditor 4 is not working
Yep, I'm having the same difficulty with CK Editor 4 as well. It won't install
A lot of plugins aren't
A lot of plugins aren't working with WP 3.5, unfortunately. We currently working with the community to get it working again, but it's time-consuming. Any help would be appreciated. More on this here: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-not-working-with-wordpress-35

Solution to the download failed-issues with plugins
Had the same problem, I added the following code in wp-config.php and it all worked out:

It didn't solve the issue with the CKeditor though, but I'm at least able to make 1-click installments with plugins..
