Hi All!
I just a quick question regarding CKEditor. Our developer has successfully integrated CKEditor into our CMS and according to this page, CKEditor is Open Source:
http://ckeditor.com/about/license
When using CKEditor and trying to upload an image we noticed a page that has this message:
"This is the DEMO version of CKFinder. Please visit the CKFinder web site to obtain a valid license."
Can somone elaborate as to how this works? Do I need to purchase a license to fully utilize CKEditor? Hope someone can provide me with a quick response. Thanks!
CKFinder is a separate
CKFinder is a separate application - a file manager - and it's not Open Source. You need a license for it. Likewise, you'll need a license if you're using the Drupal/Joomla commercial integrations because they include CKFinder, although both also have Open Source versions without CKFinder.

Hi!
Hi!
Thanks for the quick response. So does this mean that our developer integrated CKFinder into our website as well? Or is it included by default with CKEditor?
