Background color or Background Image display in editor

I just started using CKEditor and there is sort of a bug in the editor. I have a repeating background image on some pages and there is white text over this so it shows up fine on the website, but the background image is not displayed in the editor. The text is white and the background on the website is dark so I can see it there, but the background in the editor is white and the text is white so it doesn't show in the editor. Is there a way to get the background-image to show up in the editor. If not, is there a way to change the background-color in the editor so that the text will show, better yet, is there an automated way so that the background is chosen in such a way that all text would have some contrast in the editor.
