I'm starting to wonder if relative paths to images are supported. By default, the image browser returns a path that begins with a "/", which means to start at the web root. This is problematic for me because my development web root (/dev/project_x/www/) is different from the production server (/). So if I add images to content on my development machine, and then move the content to the production server, the image paths I entered would not work.
What's curious to me is that the preview pane in the image properties window works fine. It renders the image properly using the relative path. Why wouldn't the editor do that as well?
I'm totally willing to modify whatever code needs to be changed to make this work. I've already got the image browser to return paths without the preceding "/". If anyone can point me in the right direction, that would be greatly appreciated. It appears that I would need to locate where the "src" property for an image is being set.
