Hi all-
I'm having a little bit of trouble getting fckeditor working under apache and tomcat. I'm newbie in tomcat configuration to bear with me.
I run apps on my local machine so the first thing I did was to try to access the sample page using the url http://localhost/fckeditor/_samples/default.html . This was after extracting the fckeditor files into TOMCAT_HOME/webapps/FCKeditor/. I also tried putting these files directly under one of my application folders and that didn't work either.
The java integration guide at http://wiki.fckeditor.net/Developer%27s ... ation/Java says I should unzip the Java Integration Library into the fckeditor directory. What is that? Also, it says to create a context to map fckeditor to it's web folder. I'm assuming that means adding a "context" snippet into tomcat's server.xml file, but I don't know how to go about doing that except copying the existing context snippet and replacing the path.
I'm currently running Apache 2.0.x and Tomcat 4.1.x . I apologize in advance for the newb questions but I haven't found any resources on the web that were helpful. Thanks in advance.
