Adding a second "Styles" combo

I've been trying to add a hack to FCKeditor to add a second "Styles" combo to contain some colors that are to be fetched from an xml file, but all I get is an error saying that my toolbar item is undefined. Has anyone else done this or have any pointers for how to do this?
