Hello,
I want to insert new Buttons in the Toolbar that insert custom code in the textarea.
For example in the Toolbar a button with a table sign is displayed. When the user klicks on it a self created image is shown in the textarea and a custom code is created (like when the user clicks on the checkbox button a checkbox is shown in the textarea and the (custom)code <input type=checkbox... is created).
What files do I have to touch to:
- show the own Toolbar button with an own image in the toolbar
- create an Object / Function that insert the image and code in the textarea
Thanks for all answers.

Re: Adding new Buttons
Is it not possible to add custom buttons to the toolbar without going deep in the code?
Re: Adding new Buttons
I provide a variety of templates for a variety of user requirements that can be embedded within the editor simply by using the templates button. You might consider doing the same. In other words add to the templates xml file the CDATA that makes your "Object / Function that insert the image and code". This solution can be remarkably dynamic and provide exceptionally complex script to inexperienced users - but its not for the faint hearted.
Re: Adding new Buttons
Found this by another product:
http://tinymce.moxiecode.com/examples/example_18.php (or Example 20)
Exact what I need with very less code (ok, without the image manipulation on the editor site).
This is not possible with FCK editor ?
