Hi all,
I am trying to implement the ASPX connector and am running into a strange issue.
This is what I have done:
Added a reference to the ASPX Control and placed it in a page. The editor works, is retrieving and saving data to the database with no problem.
If I try and use the Image button from the tool bar, I am presented with the Image Upload dialog. Clicking the browse server button gives me an XML request error: Internal Server Error 500.
If I use the test.html page located in "FCKeditor\editor\filemanager\browser\default\connectors" it works fine. It creates custom directories and doing a sample retrieval gives be a well formes XML response.
I have set my custom user files folder in web.config as "~/Assets/" and that is the folder that the test.html page is using so I'm assuming that is correct. I have made the appropriate changes to fckconfig.js - namely setting _FileBrowserLanguage and _QuickUploadLanguage both to 'aspx'.
I think I may have found the issue in that, if I browse to the file manager, dismiss the XML request error dialog and then check the page info I get the URL as http://localhost/myWebSite/FCKEditor/ed ... nector.asp
Notice that it still attempting to use the ASP connector. Any help greatly appreciated. Oh and I am not using Themes.
Thanks in advance
Si

RE: ASPX uses ASP connector on resource brows
RESOLVED!!!
Many Thanks to navinkumar4 for this post (http://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php? ... _id=257179). Setting the BasePath in the web.config file and then reading it via the ConfigurationManager works just fine. I think my issue was that as the path was set incorrectly (or not set at all as the case may have been), that the File Browser wasn't picking up the fact that I had set ASPX as the connector as it wasn't reading the settings (javascript) file and resorting to using the default.
You the man Navin, I'm off the see a client tomorrow as it was looking a bit embarassing.
Cheers
