We are using ASP.Net and FCKEditor 2.6.3. The issue we have is in IE; Firefox does not have the issue.
We have one page with four 4 textboxes using FCKEditor and an ASP.net button at the bottom called "Save". Due to the height of the textboxes, this is a long page. If we enter information into the first box, scroll down to the bottom of the page and press the "Save" button, the screen "jumps" up to the first box. If we scroll down again to the "Save" button and click it, the information is saved with no problem.
If we enter information into the last box and click the "Save" button (we don't need to scroll because it is visible on the screen), there is no problem.
It appears the issue only occurs when we edit text in a textbox that is not visible (scrolled off the screen) and then press the "Save" button. We made all four boxes shorter so that the boxes and "Save" button can all display within the screen (with no scrolling needed) and did not experience the problem.
Has anyone else experienced a similar issue?

Re: ASP.net - Save button causes page to "Jump"
can anyone offer a reason for this? It affects IE but not Firefox.
Many thanks.

Is it because of the postback? If so, this article shows how to maintain scroll position on postback:

Hope this helps!
