I have a problem similar to a previous post, which the user has fixed but did not make a note of how he fixed it in the post.
http://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=3437996
I have searched the forums and am unable to find a fix.
I am running ASP and Mysql and I am trying to get data from the db to FCK so that I can make updates on my page. I have not been able to make it work. I can save data into the db, just the read back will not populate the editor.
I can do it with SQL and Access but not MySQL.
I bet its something dumb but can anyone let me know how to do this?
I am calling the editor like so:
<%
Dim sBasePath
sBasePath = Request.ServerVariables("PATH_INFO")
sBasePath = Left( sBasePath, InStrRev( sBasePath, "/edit_content.asp" ) )
Dim oFCKeditor
Set oFCKeditor = New FCKeditor
oFCKeditor.BasePath = sBasePath
oFCKeditor.Value= Rs("Content")
oFCKeditor.Create "FCKeditor1"
%>
This works for all other enviroments.
Could it be they type of connection string I am using? or is it a odd thing in MySQL.
Any help much appreciated.
Thanks guys.

RE: ASP + MySQL to FCK editor
oFCKeditor.Value= CStr(Rs("Content"))
Must cast the data to a string.
Grrrrr allways the simple things....
