ADD Button Won't Stay

Hi. I am running spellerpages and phpmotion 3.5 and I want to include an ADD button, so we can add words to the dictionary. The problem is that I can't get the ADD button to stay. When you click the spell check button, the ADD button quickly shows and then disappears.

I went into controls.html and edited the function for the Add Button.

Should I be editing something else?

Please help, because this is driving me nuts.
