We have been asked to improve the accessibility and usability of our site's use of the FCKEditor. The content we are loading in the FCKeditor often contain notifications that have placeholders like:
The creator of the item must then 'edit' the item by removing the son or daughter text or providing the date of the voicemail. We would like to dynamically focus (place the keyboard cursor) on these pieces of text.
Does anyone have other thoughts/approaches to placing the cursor focus within the editor on specific pieces of text? I noticed that the Find dialog is able to do it, but was unable to determine how to leverage that code for this purpose. Thank you for your time and consideration.
