FCKeditor 2.6.8 compatible with ipad?

Hi ,

We have client desktop web application using the FCKEditor 2.6.8 . Now this same application needs to be made compatible in ipad. But the Fckeditor is not compatible with ipad, so is there any possible/ alternate solution for this.

Also is the editor compatible with IOS 6.0 and above?

FCKeditor is not supported

FCKeditor is not supported for Apple mobile environments and will never be.

As for CKEditor, see this and this. In short, this is a supported environment since CKEditor 3.6.2, iOS 5 and newer. If there are any issues, they should be reported on our tracker and will be solved.

Fckeditor 2.6.8 Cursor Issue for SAFARI

Hi ,

While typing in fckeditor 2.6.8 on ipad(safari browser) after reaching the end of the editor the cursor blink moves to the above line while the typing is in the current line of the editor.

Also this issue is occuring when clicking the spacebar on ipad the cursor moves to above line and comes to normal position after few seconds.

Please let me know the possible solution.
