CKEditor is a nice WYSIWYG editor and will be great if I can use it online in Firefox OS (and awesome if I can use it even offline). Unfortunately I can't run the demo.
Steps to reproduce
- In Firefox, "Tools" -> "Wep Developer" -> "App Manager"
- Click on "Start Simulator"
- Click on "Add"
- Install version 1.3 of the simulator
- Back to "App Manager"
- Click on "Firefox OS 1.3"
- Lauch the browser (the blue icon in the right bottom)
- Got to http://ckeditor.com/demo
What happen?
The CKEditor wasn't load.
What should happen?
The CKEditor should load.
Couple of reasons.
Couple of reasons.
1) CKEditor has issues on mobiles. It's been disabled on some platforms like Android. You can read more about it in this FAQ. CKEditor 5 will bring full mobile support.
2) FF OS 1.3 is still unstable. Since mobiles will receive focus in v5, I doubt the team will spend time debugging 1.3 now.
