v. 1.0.1 OK - v. 1.2.3 NOT OK with same baseUrl and BaseDir

Please help. I cant get v. 1.2.3 to work. I have set CheckAuthentication to return true. Then I use the same
$baseUrl = '/brukerfiler/husabo/';
$baseDir = '/customers/okkaskule.no/okkaskule.no/httpd.www/brukerfiler/husabo/';
in both v1.0.1 and v.1.2.3.
OK in 1.0.1, but in 1.2.3 no folders or images are shown.
Why?
