uploading file with redundant name

I use FCKeditor.
I have a question about how it handles uploading files:
(by default) when I upload a file via FCKeditor (and it detects another file by the same name already on the server) it alerts me that a file by the same name is already located on the server and automatically changes the name of the newly added file
(Instead) is there a way to adjust the settings to allow it to replace files by the same name (when uploading)?
