before upload event

Hello. How can I send requests to a server before start uploading file. I have to validate limit of available disk space for specific user. If limit is exceeded then need stop uploading and show message. How can I do that using CKFinder? Probably I need extend standart behaviour using plugins. But I do not know where to start. I do not see any events on client side. Anybody please help.
