is there going to be another release of CKFinder?

I know the development team are hard at work on CKEditor but I'm curious if there is going to be another release of CKFinder?

There has been talk about adding multiple file uploads, and various bug fixes. I'm currently running a customised version of CKFinder that addresses some of the problems (such as the Errors in connector.aspx issue and i have some other stuff in place to rename files/directories without spaces as well as a few other hacks and modifications)

I think CKFinder is a great product, I'm just wondering if there wil be another update sometime?
