has anyone ever gotten any support on this product???
I really want to use it and BUY it, but all my posts are unanswered (except the one email that i sent that asked if there was any pre-sales support and the answer was NO)
I am trying to get CKFinder integraded into CKeditor. I have it kind of working but need to customize some settings like BaseDir and BaseURL per session.
I have created "public class MyFinderConfiguration extends Configuration" but unsure how to access it at run time
Really frustrated!

Re: such a promising product NO SUPPORT
First of all, stating that there is "no support" is simply *not true*. Both our products, CKEditor and CKFinder, are available as licensed, commercial versions with support included. No support e-mail goes unanswered, ever. So no, it's not that support is not available, it is there, but you do not wish to pay for it.
CKEditor is and has always been an Open Source product that can be used for free. If you choose the free, Open Source version, you can try to search support from the community, on the community forum. It so happens that CKSource employees occasionally answer posts here, as much as we can, but be realistic: do you really think that our time spent on solving a particular problem of one person is worth more that spending this time on improving CKEditor for everybody? Adding new features, creating documentation for everybody, fixing bugs that bother hundreds of users?
As for why nobody from the community answered your posts, I cannot know. But did you read other threads similar to yours? Did you have a glance at other unanswered posts to see whether you yourself could help someone with something that you do know? You are already getting a complicated product, with hundreds of thousands of man-hours that went into it, completely for free. If you want to use the expertise of the Open Source community you often have to give something, and not just take. Or pay for a commercial version...

Re: such a promising product NO SUPPORT
How can i expect to purchase it to get support with NO pre-sales support to see if it will even work???
I want to make sure it will work in my environment before I buy BOTH products.
I referenced that in my emails.
I understand open source, but the integration docs for java to do anything but very basic is really lacking
Re: such a promising product NO SUPPORT
I forwarded your issue to our Java developer and it will be looked into. From my side, I would be grateful for any tips as to what is missing from our integration documentation. CKFinder for Java is the latest CKFinder server-side integration and we have not really heard any feedback from the users pointing to areas that they feel could be improved.
I hope your issues will be resolved ASAP. Let me know if you need any more help.
