A lot of files in directories

At this moment the best thing you can do is to disable thumbnails.

Anyway, why do you have 100k files in a single directory? Isn't it really possible to split it into more folders? That would be the best solution. Note that CKFinder doesn't force you to keep everything under the same baseUrl/baseDir, you can change it dynamically if you like.

I have a similar problem, but with not quite so many files. I have some clients who have uploaded close to a thousand images in a single folder and my page times-out while trying to read them. I would love for them to put them in sub-folders, but I really have no control over what they do. What would be fantastic is if there was some sort of paging plugin which would allow you to set how many images were displayed for each page. This way the system would only need to render say, 50 images at a time instead of the whole directory.
