From localhost to live server - path issues (I guess)

I'm moving from localhost to live server. And the File Browser show a blank (as in totally white) window. No error messages or info of any kind.

So I guess I have to reconfigure ckFinder or ckEditor somehow. But I simply can't figure out how to do this. I've done every possible thing I can think of. And now I'm at the point where I've reinstalled a fresh copy on the live server.

How do I configure the live server so that I can view and upload files to the web SITE root (NOT the web SERVER root), as in: 'http://www.clientwebsite.com/ckfinder/userfiles/'

Setting the baseUrl to an url like above doesn't make any difference. Still a blank window.
