We are migrating from Windows Server 2003 to Windows Server 2012.
After moving our existing (Classic ASP) website(s) to the Windows Server 2012 system i noticed directory and file paths containing spaces are not able to be opened/viewed,
I reproduced this issue and made some screenshot to explain/show the issues i am having, eg:
Windows Server 2012
Windows Server 2003
I like to mention our site(s) initially used CKFinder 1.x and later have being updated to CKFinder 2.x (i noticed CKFinder 2 by default strips out whitespaces from folder names, but not from image names!) This site uses lots of images which are placed in existing news articles and stuff, so there is no way for me to manually update folder and file paths in the code.
Anyway, that said there seems to be a problem accessing file/path names using spaces that do not exist on Windows Server 2003 but cause problems on Windows Server 2012.
I would love to see a fix for this issue asap, thanks for reading.
