config.basedir and config.baseurl - question on NAS

We are running FCKEditor and CKFinder across a cluster of multiple application servers. (IIS/Coldfusion).

When we thought volume was going to be lower we implemented PeerSynch to replicate files across the network, so each server had the files locally to satisfy a request assigned to that server.

PeerSynch can no longer handle our volume so we implemented the application across the NAS so we have a single instance of the files and requests handled by multiple application servers all hit the same files at the NAS address (like ''\\nas.ourserver.net\"&config.clientdir&"\''...).

The CKFinder appliction runs fine (comes up), but the images are not uploading to the correct client folder locations.

Has anyone implemented CKFinder over a NAS and can you guide me to the correct config.basedir and config.baseurl settings?
