ckfinder_ie.js not working

I've been experiencing a problem with the use of CKfinder on my website. It displays great in all browsers except for Internet Explorer. I've managed to find that when the script ckfinder_gecko.js is in use by Safari, Firefox, Omni Web etc everything is great. However, when ckfinder_ie.js is run by an Internet Explorer the layout crumbles and no files/folders appear.

Any help anyone can give me would be really appreciated and I am well stuck. I have experimented with just running ckfinder_gecko.js so that Internet Explorer uses it with pretty good success except for slight problems displaying the file context menu, it works for the first 9 files but after scrolling it seems to lodge itself at the foot of the div. It works but is not great.

Which CKFinder version are you running? IE 6/7, which OS?
Does CKFinder demo works for you: http://www.ckfinder.com/demo ?
I tried login to your site but I couldn't... it just refreshes itself.

Just to update, I have used my PC's IE. The CKFinder demo works fine. However my installation displays the toolbar but does not display any folders/files as there is no space between the toolbar and the bottom bar that displays the number of files etc.

Omniweb isn't IE, so if you try to fool the server you will get just the wrong files and nothing will work properly. If you want to test with IE, you must use a PC or a virtual Machine with windows and IE.

About your page, you have modified the content of the files, you aren't following the normal integration steps and that is surely the reason of your problems right now, and you must remember that even if you manage to get it working properly now, as soon as anything internal is changed your system won't work with any new release because you aren't working the way that it is supposed to do and you'll have to struggle again to find out what has been changed and how you must modify your page now to make it work.

I have gone back, made the default installation, no modifications except for the baseurl, basedir and authentication and still the same problem, displays on safari/firefox/omniweb etc but not IE. It is hosted on a linux server would that influence things?

I've tested http://www.jamespaulphotography.co.uk/p ... alone.html and it works fine both in Firefox 2 and IE 7

what's your version of windows and IE?
