ckFinder as a ajax modal/lightbox

Hi all,
Has anyone managed to be able to use ckFinder as a lightbox modal?
I'm currently using mootools' great array or lightbox scripts and would love to be able to popup the image browser in a lightbox for a cleaner more inline application.

any luck on this guys?
any pointers in implementing it?
any known problems with the very idea of it

I would like to do the same thing. Popping up new windows is so old school at this point does anyone have a lightbox / modal solution to the image finder / CKEditor?
