I purchased ckeditor for joomla. It installed correctly. I then purchased a license for ckfinder.
According to MY understanding of how to insall the ckfinder license key, I found the .../plugins/editors/ckeditor/ckfinder/config.php file and pasted the ckfinder license key into the appropriate places.
However, the demo message does not go away and I cannot browse files in my images directory.
Have I installed it into the correct place or what do I need to do.

Re: Where to put license code in joomla
Which version of CKEditor for Joomla do you use ?
Open source or commercial ? Where did you downloaded it ?
Please check: http://docs.cksource.com/CKEditor_for_Joomla/Configuration#License_Information , http://docs.cksource.com/CKEditor_3.x/Howto/Joomla_CKFinder_License and try add your license as described here.
Re: Where to put license code in joomla
I am using CKeditor 3.0 which was purchased about 3 weeks ago from the CKeditor website. I have entered my license key, etc. as documented. When I go to the ckfinder, I do not get the demo copy message but I cannot browse files in any other of my directories on the site as I could with other editors and media manager.
I purchased the CKfinder from the ckfinder website. I assumed I had to do that to get the licensed version to work with ckeditor. I do not a place to enter the ckfinder license key as show in the http://docs.cksource.com/CKEditor_3.x/H ... er_License
information you advised me to review.
Is this a bug in ckeditor 3.0? How do I get the license key into ckfinder?
I am using Joomla 2.5.1 and a rockettheme template.
Re: Where to put license code in joomla
Did you downloaded CKEditor extension for Joomla from http://ckeditor.com/ckeditor-for-joomla or http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/edition/editors/12821 ? There are extensions dedicated to Joomla with extension manager and configuration.
Please insert screenshot what do you see when you go to CKFinder on your Joomla site.
Please also check if you have any errors in firebug (firefox add-on) .
Please also check if you have CKFinder enabled in "File Browser Settings " in CKEditor component configuration.
Please send me your support token in PM or write to our support channel.
Re: Where to put license code in joomla
I sent the question to the support email and no answer has been received. I will pm you my license code and attach a copy of the ckeditor screen I have.
I downloaded them from the ckeditor site and the ckfinder site. I bought license codes for both.
I have no errors in firebug.
I have ckfinder enabled in ckeditor component.
I have ckfinder enabled in the file browser setting.
If I can't get ckfinder to work then should I ask for a refund for ckeditor and ckfinder?
