Some time ago I wrote the adjustments to use other upload components in asp, but the user that requested that didn't bother to reply, so it has never been published.
Anyway, I'm not sure about the need for you to use another component because the problem might not be that: I've tested right now to upload a 90Mb file using the normal method and it works fine, so the problem might be something else instead of the upload component.
