Thumnails screen is sloooow!!!

Hello,

My thumnail screen is very very slow.
I have many images on that folder, and probably that's why it takes ages every time I go to this folder.
I am wondering how come it doesn't save the thumnail as a cache?
Is there any option to make a pagination to it?
