Hello,
I am trying to set a custom path for the images/thumbnails (loaded from my database) for CKfinder.
Can anyone help me with doing so? I have no idea where/what I should edit.

see this section from the Developer's Guide: http://docs.cksource.com/CKFinder_2.x/Developers_Guide/PHP/Configuration/Images#Thumbnails (this one is for PHP, check its equivalent for other connectors). You will need to set the "url" parameter.
