Standalone CKFinder. How do I get a file select. ala FCKEdit

When you open the image loader in FCKEditor, then go to CKFinder, you can click on a file icon and it will automatically pass that selection back to FCKEditor and into the image loader. I want to get that same selection information in javascript when someone clicks on a selection using the standalone CKFinder. How do I do that?
