Some questions

Hello.

We are currently evaluating fckeditor and ckfind as galery for use in our future projects.

I have just some questions. Maybe someone can give me a hint or an answer

Is it possible to have all filetypes (Images/Flash..) in the same folder/subfolder?

Is it possible to have a global galery and a per user galery?

Is it possible to use drag and drop to move items between folders?

Is is possible to put a button in the fckeditor-toolbar which direct opens the galery to insert an image/flash/... ?

We ware locking forward for a positive response...

Yes, configure the resources to point to the same folder.

I'm not sure what you mean, but every config file is a script, so you can set the folders based on any session parameters. Just give it a try.

No, sorry, for the moment that action isn't possible.

Yes, it's very easy to write such a plugin for FCKeditor.

I wanted to create a galery which contains one folder which is visible for all users and one folder which is only visile per user (like public and private galery)

Check the config file, it should be quite straight forward to configure it so the folders match your needs, and if you need help about a step then ask about it, but I don't think that you'll face any problem to get what you want.

I've added a ticket to the internal tracker so we don't forget about the ability to move/copy files, but I don't know when it will be available.
