[Solved] thumbnails

Hi,

i've looked in the forums and cant see an answer to this.

is it possible to set in the config file 2 folders,
Folder A which allows our members to upload images (which automatically creates the thumbnails) and
Folder B which only displays images in the folder but doesnt allow the users to upload?

am playing with the resource acl's, so any advise would be great.
