[Solved] java thumbs created are zero in size

I am using the java implementation of ckfinder
I am having problems with thumbnails
it is creating the file, but the image file is 0 bytes
Any Ideas on how to debug this?

did not upload Thumbnailator-0.3.10.jar to the server
would have been nice for some kind of exception
