Show the sub folders in the file view

I have several users tell me that there is nothing to pick when they click the Images folder. This is because they need to click the plus sign to see the sub folders.

This is particularly relevant when the contents of the Images folder ONLY has folders.

Can I make folders show in the files view?
Can I make the sub folders display when clicking on a folder, not only when I click the plus?

Try the following:
Set startupPath to "Images:/"; and startupFolderExpanded to true.

It will not do exactly what you asked, but at least it will ensure that users will not only see the "Images" folder but also its child folders.

so will this override the "cookie" path that makes this not a horrible thing once the user views one image and closes the dialog?

Humm, actually yes, setting this configuration option may change the user's experience and cause that CKFinder will not remember previous folder of a user, so that might not be actually a good idea in such case...
