Questions about CKFinder

I have a few questions:

1. We're interested in buying CKFinder for our server. We have a Windows 2003 Server (SP2) with IIS 6. I have also AspJpeg installed on the server. Which option is better for us: ASP or ASP.Net? Which one will be faster?

2. When I'm buying CKFinder for one single domain will it allow also to have it in different ports in the same domain? Also it's restricted to one IP or one domain? Does it change if there is www or not? This is important for us because we're using few ports for different sections of our site.

3. I wanted to buy crop2size, but I've noticed that you've removed it from the extras page... Does it means that you do not recommend it anymore? Do you know a similar/better tool compatible with FCKEditor?

I'm waiting for your answer before buying CKFinder (and crop2size...)...

I can answer only about the question, and the answer is that you must choose the language that you are using (or planning to use) for the rest of the site, because it's not easy at all to share session data between asp and asp.net, so if you need to validate that the user is authenticated or to know what is some setting like his home directory, you'll have great difficulties to do so if you are using the asp connector but your page is based on asp.net and the same happens the other way.

About the crop2size, I'm not sure, but I think that it required a php server, so it might not be useful to you if your IIS doesn't have it installed.

Answer: No

Answer: Yes
Does it change if there is www or not?
Answer: Yes
The Web Site license will not be valid for sub-domains of the specified Web Site URL.

OEM and Corporate Web Sites licenses don't have this restrictions.

Ad 3.)
You can download a 30-day free trial of crop2size and test it. This is the best way to ckeck every software. PHP (with GD) is required to run it.
