Hi,
Can anyone tell me how to set up ckfinder (asp) so that it doesn't create any folders in the _thumbs directory.
So that the thumbnail ref for an image is:
_thumbs/filename.jpg
rather than:
_thumbs/Images/filename.jpg
As I have the config set up with only one resource type (Images) I don't need the subfolders within the _thumbs directory and I want to keep the paths as simple as possible for dataentry.
Thanks

Re: No Subfolders under _thumbs
Open the ckfinder\core\connector\asp\Core\FolderHandler.asp file, the line 183 (in getThumbsServerPath function) is
You just have to change it to
Then go to the ftp and delete the Images folder under _thumbs, next time that you load CKFinder all the thumbnails will be generated again
Re: No Subfolders under _thumbs
thanks - a great help as ever, but there is one small issue that remains, now although the thumbnails are in the right place and the CKFinder instance doesn't create any sub folders the path the pop up returns to the form still includes the extra folders e.g:
thumbs/images/filename.jpg
instead of
thumbs/filename.jpg
Consequently the image reference entered in the database points to a missing image.
Any thoughts? - Thanks again for your help.

Re: No Subfolders under _thumbs
Due to that, the easiest solution is to just replace "thumbs/images/" in the path that you get in your callback function with "thumbs/"
