Hi, I've used fckeditor for a while and it's been great. I'm now thinking of upgrading and using ckeditor and ckfinder and buying a license and the whole shebang. I'm using php (as much as possible).
ckeditor seems to work fine (apart from an annoying bug where I can't remove the indents in the source code), but I'm having a nightmare integrating ckfinder, it simply doesn't work. Not only that but I get different results on different servers. Either way, it doesn't work with my integration, nor with the standalone samples.
(http://www.websmiths.com.au/ck/ckfinder ... alone.html)
On my local (mac/apache) server, I can click on the 'browse server' link in ckeditor, up pops the window, but I get the 'Folder not found. Please refresh and try again.' error. I've tried every path imaginable, absolute, relative, whatever. I've even had the config file email me the $baseDir and $baseUrl variables (which are correct and I can view them in the browser).
On the web server (apache) it's another story. I get a white, blank window. The javascript seems to be failing on the var get = CKFinder.tools.getUrlParam; line. The config file isn't being called (My mail function doesn't send anything from here).
I've searched everywhere, read things twice (and more times) contacted my web host - but get nothing. Is something breaking my javascript? Totally frustrated but praying that someone can help.

Re: Nightmare integration
It seems that your ftp client didn't upload the file correctly (it's truncated). Which one are you using?
Re: Nightmare integration
Thank you so much!! (I had tried everything and simply couldn't understand…)
Re-uploaded the file and voila! It works.
I'm using Filezilla, and I do find that sometimes that happens, but I obviously need to get better at debugging and troubleshooting.
Sorry, I'm a fool, but how do I check the error console? (Actually, disregard this – I just found it.) Still, I wouldn't have known about the truncated script – thanks so much!
Thanks again

Re: Nightmare integration
Can you explain in more detail why you are considering purchasing a license? I contacted CKSource via their contact form asking them if they could explain when I would be required to purchase a license. The response I received was to consult an attorney.
The issue here is that hiring an attorney to review the open source licenses to determine whether or not I need to purchase a license is going to cost me more than the license itself.
Any help/explanation would be appreciated.
