Navigating server /home folders on with Apache UserDir

Is it possible to use CKFinder to navigate authenticated server user folders (/home/user)? If so, how do I set this up in config.php? I use Apache2 basic authentication and SSL, where users login to the website via HTTPS, or can login via SSH. I want them to be able to access, edit, upload and download files via both protocols within their own login folders. I have Apache2 configured via the UserDir directive to allow this access via the website.

Yes, that's doable. You just have to configure correctly $baseDir variable and the CheckAuthentication function (probably check $_SERVER variables to authenticate users).
