I'm testing ckfinder on a windows vista box running Apache and although the basic functionality is working, I'm having several smaller problems.
1) I've set maxSize to several different values to limit the upload size, but ckfinder seems to ignore it and uploads all the items anyway.
Example:
Result: uploads a 100k file
Note: I've also tried
2) Thumbnails display as a red question mark logo instead of the actual thumbnail. When I look (via Windows Explorer) in the /ckfinder/userfiles/_thumbs/images/ directory, I see the correct thumbnails, but for some reason, they're not being displayed through ckfinder.
3) Is it possible to change the format of the filedate which seems to be the European style dd/mm/yyyy instead of the US-friendly: mm/dd/yyyy?
Thanks.

Example:
$config['ResourceType'][] = Array( 'name' => 'Images', 'url' => $baseUrl . 'images', 'directory' => $baseDir . 'images', 'maxSize' => 1024, 'allowedExtensions' => 'jpg,gif,jpeg,png', 'deniedExtensions' => '');
Result: uploads a 100k file
Note: I've also tried
'maxSize' => '10k'with the same result.

Re: MaxSize, thumbnails problems
It is already fixed in SVN and will be fully working in CKFinder 1.1, which should be released soon.
For now, the only workaround for this bug is to use built-in option in php.ini: upload_max_filesize.
It will deny uploading bigger files, however user will not see "user friendly" message when upload fails.
Ad 2) This issue is also fixed in version 1.1. To fix it instantly, you can try adding this at the beginning of config.php file:
Ad 3) I think you're right and it would be nice to allow users to change the default date formatting (in config file?).
Thanks!
